The Faroese salmon aquaculture industry is in many ways a front runner when it comes to key performance indicators relating to biological and economic sustainability. This positive development of the Faroese aquaculture sector is largely a result of the strong collaboration between industry, research community and public authorities. This session provides concrete examples of how the actors within the three areas work with addressing key challenges, thereby increasing the sustainability of the Faroese aquaculture sector.
